TOM & GERRY is a electroacoustic duo-project featuring the Cologne-based analog synthplayer and the percussionist; a record release reception follows for their new Erstwhile double CD (www.erstwhilerecords.com)


Sunday 12   Elsa Stansfield and Madelon Hooykaas

European video-pioneers based in the Netherlands are celebrating 25 years working with this medium; "INSIDE A PORTRAIT", video-projection, sounds, air current, sculpture (supported by the Mondriaan Foundation)

Guitarist and man about town performs two ongoing improvisational pieces for solo 12 and 6 string electric guitar, with video projections by filmmaker Braden King

Friday 17   Norman Yamada

We've just gone into a studio and recorded two pieces for the gig, deliberately using archaic technology: mono to quarter inch running 15 ips, using one RCA 44 DX mike; mono sounds great -- we'll press it to 45 rpm vinyl in the next few weeks & the gig will be somehow about the relation between recorded and live sound; with many musicians


Sunday 19   Christof Migone and Alexandre St-Onge

The New York/Montreal based duo "undo" explores the mouth in all its viscosity; mouth amplifications and breath saturations, barely perceptible language, ventriloquism of the other, Beckett and Blanchot meet and they realize they have already ingested and undone each other; "undo"'s first CD "un sperme qui meurt, de froid, en agitant faiblement sa petite queue, dans les draps d'un gamin", will be released in February


Tuesday 21   Haruo Higuma

The work "Beyond Boundaries" is a collaboration of dance, fine art, music, and video; Haruo Higuma made a space like holography with the cloth of Kanreisha; dancers and a musician join in the space and perform; cast : Yoko Muronoi, Noboru Kamita; Sound : Hirokazu Hiraishi & Tomoko Yazawa, video : Haruo Higuma
